What we collect, and who sees it.

Pre-launch policy. Plain-language and accurate as of July 2026. It will be formalized with legal counsel before Veraxis scales. If anything here is unclear, email hello@veraxis.work.

What we collect

Account email and password (or Google sign-in), your profile as you enter it (name, roles, target companies, location, photo), your resume file and the structured profile our AI extracts from it, jobs and company details recruiters post, and what you produce inside the product: interview-practice transcripts, practice answers and code, resume-tailoring suggestions you accept or reject, and the relevance scores and roadmaps we compute for you.

How you work, not just what you produce

Inside the Practice Engine and the Interview Coach we also record how an answer was produced, not only the answer. For practice: when you started typing, how long you spent, how much text you pasted in and how often, each time you ran the tests, and pauses longer than about fifteen seconds. For the Interview Coach: whether you spoke or typed, how long you took to respond to each question, and how many follow-ups the interviewer asked.

We record how much you paste, never what you paste. There is no field in our database that pasted text could go into.

What we use it for, today: to tell a recruiter which of your skills you have demonstrated rather than self-reported. That is the difference the whole product rests on — a skill you list and a skill you have shown are not the same claim, and until now we had no way to tell them apart. Practice and Interview Coach both carry a notice saying this on the page, while you are using them.

It is kept with your account and deleted when your account is deleted — see How long we keep it below.

Where it lives

In a Supabase (PostgreSQL + storage) instance in AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1), with row-level security so accounts can only read their own rows. Resume files sit in a private bucket served only through short-lived signed links. The app itself runs on Vercel, also in Mumbai.

Who else sees it

Three processors, only in service of features you use: Anthropic (Claude) processes your resume text, profile-and-job pairs, interview answers, and practice answers to produce parsing, scores, feedback, and reports; ElevenLabs receives interviewer text (never your voice) — and only if you enable premium text-to-speech; our own code-execution runner receives practice code you submit, to run it.

If you use voice input, speech-to-text happens through your browser’s built-in engine, which depending on your browser may process audio on the vendor’s servers. We don’t sell data, run ads, or share data with anyone else.

Two more services keep the product running, and both are active: Sentry (error tracking) receives a report when something breaks — the error and its stack trace, the page you were on, your browser and operating system, and a short trail of what happened immediately before it — plus a 1-in-10 sample of page-performance timings. It does not record your screen or replay your session. PostHog (product analytics) receives which pages you open and a fixed list of product events: signed up, uploaded a resume, viewed a role, chose a roadmap tier, generated a practice question, rated a piece of feedback. Those events carry record ids and outcomes — never your resume, your answers, your scores, or the text of anything you write. It does not track your clicks generally, only the named events.

PostHog stores its data in the United States, not Mumbai. Everything else described on this page stays in the Mumbai region.

How long we keep it

Your account data — profile, resume file, extracted profile, scores, roadmaps, practice attempts, interview transcripts, and the process signals described above — is kept for as long as your account exists and is deleted when your account is deleted. Deletion is currently a manual process we complete on request.

Recruiter visibility

You control how recruiters find you.

Private (the default). Your full profile — name, photo, and details — is shown to a recruiter only when you apply or share for one of their specific roles, or when you accept a connection request.

Public (opt-in). If you switch discoverability to Public, your profile — name, photo, current company, years of experience, and skills — appears in the recruiter Explore directory. Going Public means any recruiter on the platform can view your full profile without you taking any further action. You can return to Private at any time, which removes you from Explore going forward.

Recruiters reach out through connection requests, which you can accept or decline. In role shortlists, recruiters see anonymized rows until you share your profile for that role.

Your controls

Edit your profile anytime. To export or delete your account and data, email us — deletion is currently a manual process we complete on request; a self-serve control is planned.

Cookies
